Chest is across pit 2 pit measurement, length is from top of collar to the bottom hem, sleeve is outer sleeve length, shoulder is from the shoulder point across just like chest. No major flaws black tag, Korean War era. Originally developed in the late 1940’s, the E-1 Vest enabled pilots to carry a survival radio for use in
emergency situations. Worn over flight coveralls, the water-repellent E-1 featured two pockets to carry radio and battery and a belt to secure both close to the body. Additional features included the original U.S. Air Force winged decal and a conmar zippered front closure.
